The challenge
Quotes were typed by hand, invoices were copied from those quotes, and reminders went out when somebody remembered. The same information was re-entered three or four times, and every re-entry was a chance to get it wrong.
What we did
We mapped where data actually entered the business and connected the tools already in use, rather than replacing them. A quote now becomes an invoice becomes a reminder without anyone retyping anything.
The outcome
Thousands of manual steps a month stopped being manual. Just as importantly, the transcription errors that came with them stopped too.
